Dena Paige-Fischer is a multidisciplinary artist born and raised in New York City.  Informed by imagery from the subconscious, spirituality and nature, she creates mixed media sculptures, paintings and drawings that fuse contrasting forms and materials in a complimentary way.  Combining natural and industrial matter, such as metal, wood, stone, concrete, and plaster, along with imagery that fuses bodily features with abstract shapes, Paige-Fischer utilizes the ability of the inanimate object to embody an essence, spirit or ethos.
